Resources For Understanding The War Beyond The Bulletins

Defense Politics Asia's youtube channel and their map, who is an independent youtuber with a mostly neutral viewpoint.

Moon of Alabama, which tends to have good analysis (though also a couple bad takes here and there)

Understanding War and the Saker: neo-conservative sources but their reporting of the war (so far) seems to line up with reality better than most liberal sources.

Alexander Mercouris, who does daily videos on the conflict and, unlike most western analysts, has some degree of understanding on how war works. He is a reactionary, however.

On the ground: Patrick Lancaster, an independent journalist reporting in the Ukrainian warzones.

Unedited videos of Russian/Ukrainian press conferences and speeches.

British leader ousted in palace coup

News are emerging from Great Britain that Liz Truss, the supreme leader of the hermit kingdom in the far west of Europe, has been forced to resign by forces in the ruling conservative party.

Experts fear that the fledgling nation which has been marred by mismanagement and corruption since the end of the civil war in the 1990's, will be thrown into political turmoil over what seems to be an internal power struggle in the regime.

A new supreme leader is scheduled to be appointed by the regime following a consultation of members of the ruling conservative party. Anglo-watchers are speculating that the ouster of Truss will make way for the rehabilitation of Boris Johnson, the disgraced firebrand strongman who was ousted earlier this year after similar turmoil in the regime.

It's such a shame that this happens to these kingdoms, so stuck in the past. Did you know that "Great" Britain (South Scotland, more like it!) still has a monarchy as the technical ruler of its brutal regime?

Honestly, I think it's really struggling to cope with the aftermath of its genocidal imperial legacy around the world.

Alas, the only real alternative there was Jeremy Corbyn, who faced a barrage of state propaganda that forced him into submission, and the only opposition now is controlled opposition in the form of Keir Starmer, who believes in 98% of the ruling regime's policies. Perhaps one day, the iron curtain around the country will lift and the repressed citizenry can experience true freedom and democracy.

And whose party has been actively purging any left elements for half a decade, at least

The British people are forced to eat rats and then Liz Truss eats us and then Boris Johnson eats Liz Truss and that is how our economy works. Please Xi send J-20 sixth generation jet fighters and the aircraft carrier Shandong to liberate our people.

British politics is just a rotating cast of conservative buffoons making a mockery of themselves and getting ousted in a plot

Liz Truss...has been forced to resign by forces in the ruling conservative party.

LOL. Holy shit I thought you were making this up for the narrative, but it's real.

One down. Loads more to go.

I found this comment on :reddit-logo:, BTW:

Someone wrote an article saying that Truss essentially will have the shelf life of a lettuce. That inspired someone else to livestream a lettuce to see which goes bad first, spoiler alert, the lettuce has won.
