Just an update on my situation: I'll almost certainly be moving within the next week or two. The last update for a little while will be next Wednesday, the 19th. I'm going to then take a break to set things up, get to know my surroundings and such. I hope to be ready to start doing this again on the 28th, but I will post that week's megathread on the 24th.

After that, I will hopefully be able to keep doing this more consistently and things will get less busy than they have in recent weeks. I strongly appreciate all the compliments I get and I'm glad to be part of such a great community! :Care-Comrade:

Resources For Understanding The War Beyond The Bulletins

Defense Politics Asia's youtube channel and their map, who is an independent youtuber with a mostly neutral viewpoint.

Moon of Alabama, which tends to have good analysis (though also a couple bad takes here and there)

Understanding War and the Saker: neo-conservative sources but their reporting of the war (so far) seems to line up with reality better than most liberal sources.

Alexander Mercouris, who does daily videos on the conflict and, unlike most western analysts, has some degree of understanding on how war works. He is a reactionary, however.

      On the bright side, we aren't in the worst of all worlds.

      China still exists, and its rise appears to be unstoppable, and its government still committed to their socialist project and against the West. As does Cuba, Venezuela, the DPRK, Laos, and so on.

      Looking at this from the broadest viewpoint, the project of destroying American hegemony is continuing about as well as one could hope given the conditions.

      Though if you live in the West, well, horrors beyond our comprehension await us. But whatever fascist phase is coming, and is kinda already here, can't last forever. We're fighting for the world after it collapses. We gotta survive.

      I think the US is largely committed to managing its decline specifically into fascism at this point. The repression of left-wing organization in all forms will be the tenet of their prior liberalism which serves as the bridge from Neo-liberalism into American Fascism. We can, should, and will still organize where we are able to within the West (if for no other reason, to survive in a conscionable manner) but we should look for our "successes" and motivations outside of the US, imo.

      From the outside it seems absolutly amazing what is happening in the USA . The Democrats , by their obvious lying and association with "obviously visually marked" Nazis in ukraine and more importantly , beeing Democrats (priorities) have provided the majority of the "Chud Hearingrange" Contingent , a golden bridge to leave the ship and the dynamic of social media discourse 6 Months into this Kabuki Theater has probably has him posting Ukrainian Faschist and explaining the Wolfsangle to @Karenloveandpeace that was arguring for the castration of all Russians so they cant breed...
