The Supreme Court will strip the federal government down to being a military and a postal service, and that's about it. This seems to be an ideological commitment that 5-6 of the justices have - that the federal government should only do the things that are explicitly outlined in the dogshit constitution. No protection of civil liberties, environmental protection, social welfare, nothing. Honestly trying to get universal healthcare passed is pointless now as SCOTUS will definitely overturn it.

This is what they want and they are signalling that they'll flip anything that isn't spelled out in black & white in the constitution. I would say this puts us on a speed run to balkanization and maybe it does, but the bourgeoisie need this whole thing to stick together since US imperialism is very profitable for them, so I do think they'll force states to stick together with the barrel of a gun.

Honestly, looking at the Overnight Reverse Repurchase Agreements over the last 16 months ($2.26 trillion of new money), I think they're ripping the copper out of the walls on their way out.

With the way things are looking I'm starting to even doubt the part about the postal service

They don't care about the constitution. Their ruling on concealed carry was pure ideology. They're just doing whatever they want to do, there are no principles or legal theory underpinning their decisions.

Overthrowing Roe isn't just an affront to constitutional legal jurisprudence, it flies in the face of stare decisis, the idea of agreeing with precedent that the entirety of Common Law is based on. They've thrown out even the merest pretense of legal norms and theories. They're really just making shit up because no one can stop them.
